JOB PURPOSE:

PetroTalent Global Resourcing[PTGR] is urgently looking for a Scaffolding Supervisor to perform Scaffolding Construction activities on site, ensuring scaffolding work performance and schedule meets the requirements for a safe scaffolding installation duties within the Oil and Gas Industry to join our Client's Aramco Project team based in Saudi Arabia

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scaffolding Construction activities on site, ensuring scaffolding work performance and schedule meets the requirements for a safe scaffolding installation. • Provide daily supervisory surveillance checks and records, ensuring that contractors’ management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permit procedures, protective equipment, experienced / qualified supervision and manpower, with reliable, well maintained equipment to execute the contracted works as per contract schedule and targets. • Routinely study, check, review and validate the discipline scope of work against the appropriate Contract Requisition to ensure the Contractors. • Ensure that the contractors scaffold material is of an approved type and that contractor scaffolders are experienced and qualified in its use. • Ensure that all false works are approved before they are erected. • Ensure that only qualified scaffold personnel modify scaffold structures, false work, and move scaffold boards. • Determining job requirements and planning/configuring scaffolding. • Erection of scaffolding of various types, establishing platforms and safety measures. • Dismantling and removing on completion. • Undertaking checking/assessing and when directed. • Help to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety. • Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract/agreed requirements. • Carry out tasks within agreed time limits. • Ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety. • Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work. • Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organization and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager. • Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole. • Contribute towards the smooth running of the team. • Adhere to all organization policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides advice and consultation to department staff to assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards and practices.
• Identifies and evaluates hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace. Undertakes surveys to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety and environmental conditions. Conducts and coordinates on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices. Provides advice and counsel concerning compliance with corporate safety regulation and procedures.
• Performs construction site and/or area safety inspections of department facilities and operations. Performs job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analyses and safe work procedures, and prepares written reports and recommendations.
• Develops controls for identified hazards. Coordinates the implementation of controls from results of hazard analyses. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommends changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate work place incidents and injuries.
• Prepares safety orientations, safety training, and job site inspection procedures. Directs or assists in the development of specialized education and training materials. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science, or in a related field is preferred in addition to certification for radiation safety officer (RSO).
• Must have (8) years of related safety/operational experience and/or training, preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry, or in the industry related to the position placement.
• Must have knowledge or training in the following: occupational health, safety and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental and/or international standards.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of delivering hands on health, safety and environmental training. Must also have ability to assist with developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive health and safety programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct work experience and demonstrated thorough knowledge of engineering codes and standards with welding and testing requirements required for the WORK, such as ANSI/ASME B31.3, B31.4 & B31.8; ASME BPVC (Sections V and IX) and AWS D1.1.
• Three (3) or more years of direct work experience performing QC inspection and testing related to the scope of WORK (e.g., industrial oil and gas production or petrochemical projects).
• Demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of the 2015 version of ISO 9001 QMS requirements, engineering discipline drawings, standards, material specifications, construction methods and QC inspection and test procedures in one or more inspection disciplines.
• Able to work with minimal supervision, performing a variety of document review, inspection and testing functions to verify CONTRACTOR compliance with Contract requirements.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• six (6) or more years of direct work experience, in the specific engineering discipline(s), performing QC inspection and testing of industrial project materials, equipment, systems and facilities under construction and Pre-Commissioning.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English language.

• Previous experience / Aramco approval in piping project is advantages
• CBT pass exam is Mandatory

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs test and inspection witnessing and/or examination and necessary QA/QC documentation of check and test items of each phases of work process / activities to ensure that the job is completed within the Client’s acceptance criteria.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Implements inspection activities in accordance with the QC Plan and Inspection / Test Procedures.
2. Maintains a record of job specification and/or acceptance criteria of the items they cover for inspection.
3. Arrange all mechanical testing in the Lab including witness of client and certified agency..
4. Maintains approved QC Checklist forms to be used during inspection.
5. Coordinating with NDT Coordinator in order to conduct the applicable NDT by Third Party Inspectors.
6. Distribute approved Job Clearance Cards to the assigned welders at project site based on their qualifications.
7. Review of welding procedure specification (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR) for the relevant joints and keeping the approved WPSs in his possession for ready reference.
8. Monitor and handles the welders qualification testing and welder qualification records.
9. Develop Close coordination with welding supervisors / welders in order to enhance the productivity without harming the quality of completed welds by monitoring and ensuring the protective measures are taken to to minimize the level of potential defects.
10. Issue Non-Conformance Report (NCR) to items not found acceptable and submit to QC Supervisor Welding for appropriate disposition.
11. Monitor on handing, storage and preservation of weld material.

SKILLS and Qualification:

Minimum 7 years with at least 3 year experience of those years related to welding process He shall have received relevant training in the appreciation inspection techniques and with the appropriate qualifications/certificates

OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Shall satisfy the qualification requirements of a welding.

ACADEMIC EDUCATION: Graduate of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering ; Diploma in Mechanical

CERTIFICATIONS: CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 AWS - CWI ANST Level II SAP No by Aramco with CBT Pass Result in respective Discipline

Overview

• We are seeking a Safety Engineer focusing on Drilling & Workover Operations to join the Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention organization (LP), which is the corporate safety organization within Saudi Aramco. We provide both day-to-day in-field occupational and process safety support to Saudi Aramco operations, as well as centralized technical support and consulting function. Our field offices are located in Abqaiq, Riyadh, Ras Tanura, Dhahran, Udhailiyah, Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan), and Tanajib. Through these offices, LP provides its services to all Saudi Aramco facilities and departments that are located throughout the Kingdom.
• The primary role as a Safety Engineer (Loss Prevention Engineer) is to is to provide daily support to upstream organizations to provide field and office safety support to manage safety in petroleum engineering, exploration, drilling and workover related activities, including unconventional resources and seismic operations.

Duties and responsibilities

• As the successful candidate, you will have the requisite knowledge, skills, and experience to:
• Facilitate implementation of the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System, as well as its objectives and expectations, including developing associated safety processes, and participating in self-assessments.
• Inspect to onshore and offshore drilling rigs, workover equipment, and other support facilities and have in-depth knowledge of well control equipment and procedures (i.e., attended Basic Well Control School).
• Identify, evaluate, recommend actions, and follow up on critical, yet universal safety tasks and control methodologies related to operational safety practices (e.g., work at height, isolation/LOTO, permit to work, hydrogen sulfide, confined space entry, excavations).
• Participate in safety studies/activities using risk assessment and mitigation methodologies, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys.
• Develop and/or review corporate safety standards, instructions and procedures related to upstream operations and formalize them into company-documented practices as required.
• Review designs of oil and gas field facilities for compliance with company and industry safety standards.
• Assist in the development of Emergency Response Plans for credible scenarios. Have a working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS). Attend emergency drills as observer and provide feedback.
• Respond to emergency situations and incidents, either during or after regular working hours, to provide technical assistance and advice.
• Support the reporting, classification and investigation all incidents, and participating in incident investigations, determination of root causes, and proper recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Deliver Loss Prevention-specific training to employees, contractors, and outside parties.
• Mentor other LP personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline from an Accredited Institution, and seven years of relevant oil and gas upstream industry experience, including a strong track record in delivering results. This would include areas such as: Drilling & Workover operations; well planning and approval; reservoir management; geology and geophysics; project management for upstream facilities development; oil & gas field development; simultaneous operations (SIMPOS) between upstream and construction/downstream operations; offshore and onshore drilling rig safety inspections; managerial audits/assessments; and safety program and emergency response plans development.
• You will have an excellent ability to communicate in English with peers as well as members of management and be able to produce clear and concise oral and written reports in English.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical discipline in the assigned project(s).
• Oversee a team of E&I designers while carrying out design engineering and 3D modelling.
• Review of electrical motor datasheets, instrumentation and sizing of cables.
• Guidance and review of cable sizing and cable routing based on international standards such as IEEE45.
• Preparation of Design basis, Project specific specifications for EPC projects and other projects involving Basic / Detail engineering. Feasibility studies and Tender document preparation.

• Specific experience in bigger diameter carbon steel welded pipe lines, Sewerage and Water pumping stations.
• Experience in preparing Design Specification, datasheets, MRs, TBE etc.
• Good experience in bigger diameter Carbon steel welded pipeline installations, including cement lining, coating repairs, NDT and Testing etc.
• Hands on experience in design of lift pumping stations for sewerage / water transmission pumping stations including design, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Experience in preparing drawings/documents as per design basis.
• Conversant with applicable API, ASTM, ANSI, Shell DEP standards.
• Conversant with applicable BS, DIN, ISO, ASTM, ANSI, AWWA etc

Job description / Role

• Plan, organize, supervise and coordinate all engineering activities and permanent and temporary works designs / activities, and ensure compliance with technical and commenced contractual obligations.
• Liaise with Client, statutory authorities and technical representatives from other organizations as needed.
• Liaise with the other Site Engineers and Supervisors to ensure proper co-ordination of the site engineering including provide records and reports on all activities or non-conformances.
• Assist in programming of all site engineering activities with the Planning Manager and Project Engineer.
• Assess subcontractor/supplier QC performance / arrangements for compliance with contract requirements.
• Ensure key dates are achieved for preparation and submission (where appropriate) of quality procedures inspection and test plans etc.
• Implement, control, check on safety matters and initiate changes for improvement.
• Acquaint section personnel with QC requirements and arrangements in place to achieve them.
• Control all QC documents / records and ensure they are produced and stored by the Document Controller in a readily retrievable manner.
• Provide regular reports and analysis of QC performance to QA Manager
• Carry out random spot checks on product quality being achieved and report results/make suggestion for improvements, if appropriate
• To maintain and foster good relationship with Client’s representative and all subcontractors.
• Initiate all necessary sampling and testing.
